KP to halt NATO supply, if missile strikes continue

Peshawar: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervez Khattak warned that his government will be forced to halt NATO supply for the US armed forces stationed in Afghanistan, in case the missile strikes were not stopped, says a news report.
Talking to media, the KPK Chief Minister noted the war against terrorism that still continues even after the lapse of ten years, could not entail anything beneficial, adding it is high time the negotiation process was given a chance.
Impressing upon the federal government to commence the negotiation process with the Taliban, Khattak complained the entire authority was vested in the federation with “us in contact with no one”.
Replying to a query, Chief Minister Khattak remarked that the missile strikes are hitting the tribal areas under the administration by the federal government, warning to cut off the NATO supplies, if such strikes continue.
The US visit by Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif could not yield any satisfactory consequences, he added.
