Karachi: Ruet-e-Hilal Committee (RHC) will meet on Monday evening in the office of Meteorological Department in Karachi for the sighting of Muharram moon, say media reports.
Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, Chairman of RHC, and different members of the Zonal Committee will be present during the meeting. Technical experts will also attend the moon sighting meeting.
Tauseef Alam, Chief of Met Department, and representatives of Space & Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) will also be present in the RHC meeting.
After the meeting, Mufti Muneeb will announce if the moon was sighted or not.
