Rawalpindi: Saach.TV has learnt from very credible sources that Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has showed serious displeasure on Rawalpindi’s administration for not being able to control the spread of dengue fever.
According to the retrieved details, Shahbaz Sharif addressed a video conference from Berlin on Thursday (yesterday) to analyze the current out-of-control spread of dengue fever in Rawalpindi.
Shahbaz got angry over the fact that in the presence of all protocols and mechanisms, district administration failed to perform as good as it was in the year 2011.
Directly addressing to the provincial health minister Khalil Tahir Sindhu, he said “You are just sitting and wearing suit and tie. Is this how you plan to take on dengue?” He told Hanif Abbasi – PML-N leader who lost to Imran Khan in May 11 polls – “You are not working as once you used to.”
“Only sitting in offices will not work now,” Shahabz told Commissioner Rawalpindi. Talking to District Coordination Officer (DCO) Shahabz said “Sajid! You have become idle.” He also called EDO health Zafar Iqbal Gondal a ‘seriously lazy’ person and said “You have been appointed in the same area for past 13, 14 years yet you do not know about the streets. Officers like you should be sent to Balochistan.”
It is worth mentioning here that even after the clear instructions to be present in the session, few of the concern people were missing. Now Shahbaz Sharif is likely to make some changes in district administration on his return from Berlin.
